EVENTS - AWARDS - EVENTS IN THE 70 YEARS OF VIVAI DEL SUD
- 1965 - Grand Hotel Miramonti inauguration Gold Plate Cortina d'Ampezzo Town Hall and Cup delivered by Ertè for the most luxurious hotel in the Ampezzo Valley.

- 1974 - Genoa Fair for Architecture and Furniture - March 1974 - 1st Prize to the "Vivai del Sud" for the project for the recovery and enhancement of the historic center of the old city.
- 1975 "New York the new Versailles" - The "Vivai del Sud" are chosen by the Mayor of New York, the Italian Ambassador and the Italian Chamber of Commerce for the United States, to carry out the restoration, supplies of large containers for over 400 trees 6 to 8 meters high, traffic problems on the well-known 5th street, seven nights with over 200 workers. The delivery took place on the day, in the hour and also in our amazement. The success and quality of the result can be attributed to Gianfranco di Pierri, who has always been the head of our Milan office, and now vice president of our Group.
- 1969 - The "Vivai del Sud" acquired a prestigious brand of high fashion and clothing and leather accessories; Nazzareno Gabrielli, a well-known brand not only in Europe but also in the United States and Japan, as it in turn controlled the brand and the production of the "Poltrone FRAU". It was a complex and courageous operation but it was a prelude to an agreement for the clothing and furnishings of the film "IL PADRINO 1 °" by F. Coppola, which then happened.
- In Tokyo "V d S", N.Gabrielli set up a mixed company with the Tanaka family (then 1st Minister of Japan). It was a great success both in terms of image and commercial and led to the creation of an extraordinary showroom in Ghinza (Center of Luxury, jewelery, etc ...), the heart of Tokyo and all of Japan. For the inauguration (the complex, all in crystal and gilded metal, was built in 120 days), a special flight was taken which, in addition to all the staff, was also joined by the "godmother" Silvia Koscina and managers of the ministry of industry and of foreign trade. All the international fashion and furniture magazines talked about it and an important honor was conferred on Dr. Piero di Pierri directly from the 1st Minister Tanaka.
- 1971 - Iran / Persia - on October 15, 1971 the Shah Mohammed Reza Pahlavi together with the Empress Farah Diba, presided in Persepolis at the solemn celebrations for the 2500th anniversary of the Persian monarchy: all the powerful of the Earth were present. The task of organizing, designing and realizing this extraordinary event was entrusted to Dr. Piero di Pierri as president of the "Vivai del Sud" in October 1969 directly by the Shah together with his Scholars, historians, architects and the various Ministers of the Empire. . They were two extraordinary years as were the results; to coordinate this "operation" was Giorgio di Pierri, General Manager of the "Vivai del Sud" who, assuming this heavy commitment, did not spare himself, night and day until the organization of an airlift using gigantic C-130 Persian soldiers. It was an unrepeatable event, a point of reference in the long history of the "Vivai del Sud".
